Thank you for reviewing for Pharma Research. Good reviews help authors improve their work and help editors make fair decisions.

Before you accept

  • Accept only if the manuscript is within your expertise and you can report within the deadline (normally three weeks).
  • Declare any conflict of interest – see Conflict of Interest (Reviewers).

Writing the report

  • Start with a short summary of the study and its main claims.
  • Comment on originality, methods, data analysis and whether the conclusions are supported.
  • List major and minor points separately, and be specific.
  • Keep the tone constructive and courteous; do not try to identify the authors.
  • Give a recommendation: accept, minor revision, major revision or reject. Comments meant only for the editor go in the confidential section.

Ethics

Treat the manuscript as confidential. Do not upload it to generative AI tools, and do not use its data or ideas in your own work. If you suspect plagiarism, data fabrication or other misconduct, tell the editor rather than contacting the authors.
