Pharma Research is an open-access journal. Readers pay nothing to read or download articles, so the costs of review management, copyediting, typesetting, hosting and archiving are met by an article processing charge (APC).

• The APC is payable only after acceptance. The amount and payment details are given in the acceptance letter.
• Payment has no influence on editorial decisions; editors and reviewers do not know whether an author can pay.
• Authors who cannot afford the charge may request a full or partial waiver under our APC Waiver Policy.
